One large flat, reworked as two homes
One oversized Camberwell apartment, redesigned and split into two: one long let, one short stay.
A large apartment in a Victorian house in Camberwell, redesigned and divided into two self contained flats, one a long let and one a short stay. Splitting it left two very tight footprints, and the real work was making each one live properly: a full bedroom, bathroom and living space in each half, planned to the centimetre, with every wall and every run of services earning its place. The two share a language of herringbone parquet, soft grey kitchens with stone worktops, and blacked Victorian chimney breasts, with one bedroom in deep charcoal and the other kept pale. Interior design and space planning by White Canvas Interiors, led by Abigail Dow and Sandra Bassila. Still on site, so the images are a mix of finished rooms, work in progress and the drawings. Completing late 2026.
